HAYSLIP PLAID VALANCE
This WILLIAMSBURG collection of home textiles is largely inspired by a remarkable book of textile swatches in the Colonial Williamsburg collections. Put together between 1850 and 1895 by Annie Hayslip (1835--1898), the album is a life story told via more than 3000 fabric scraps of the dresses of friends and kindred. The swatches range from the late 18th century to the end of the 19th century.
