At Schoolhouse Earth we strive to bring you the most unique shopping experience around. Aside from offering an eclectic selection of home and garden products, we carry a large selection of fashion items, jewelery, children's gifts, books, and more. We have a year-round Christmas showroom filled with holiday collections. And our outdoor garden and patio items are not to be missed! We have a daily rotation of food samples available for visitors and a free petting zoo to enjoy while you shop.

We are located near Deep Creek Lake on Route 42. From the State Patrol Barracks at the corner of Routes 42 and 219, go North 1 mile. We will be on the right. If traveling in from I-68, on Route 219 turn right on Hoyes Road and go west for 1 mile. We will be on your left at the stop sign. If traveling south on Route 42, as you pass Hoyes Road, we will be on your left.

The shop is open daily from 10AM until 6PM.

The above images were taken during the 2010 blizzard outside of our shop. At times you can see that snow was piled high above the doorways and windows and everything was completely covered with snow. Record snow had fallen during the winter and it was certainly a year that we will not soon forget!
